Our Commitment: Health Import does not collect, transmit, upload, or sell your health records. The application contains zero networking code and operates entirely in local memory on your device.
1. Compliance with App Store Review Guideline 5.1.3
Health Import adheres strictly to Apple's developer guidelines governing personal health and medical data:
- No Advertising, Marketing, or Commercial Mining: Health, medical, or fitness data read from user export archives or written to HealthKit is never used, shared, or disclosed for advertising, marketing, profiling, or commercial data mining under any circumstances.
- Zero Network Activity: The application does not contain networking libraries, sockets, or background upload tasks. The app cannot connect to the internet or remote servers.
- No Cloud or Server Storage: Health Import does not store personal health data on external servers, third-party databases, or iCloud. Data is written directly from local memory into the local Apple Health database.
- No Inaccurate or Fabricated Data: The application never alters, estimates, or fabricates health readings. It only imports authentic historical records from the user's official Apple Health export archive.
- Explicit User Consent: All interactions with HealthKit are initiated solely by the user and guarded by standard iOS HealthKit permission sheets.
2. Local Data Processing & Memory Safety
Health Import operates as a self-contained local utility:
- In-Memory Streaming: When an archive is selected, data is read directly in memory. Uncompressed files are never written to disk.
- Cryptographic Deduplication: To prevent duplicate entries in HealthKit, cryptographic fingerprints are computed locally in memory. These hashes never leave your device.
- Instant Cleanup: As soon as the import process finishes or is cancelled, all temporary memory buffers are cleared immediately.
3. Zero Third-Party Analytics or Trackers
Health Import contains zero third-party analytics libraries, advertising frameworks, crash trackers, or telemetry tools. We do not track your usage, device identifiers, or interaction patterns.
4. In-App Purchases via StoreKit 2
Payment for the optional full history unlock is handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit 2. We do not receive, store, or have access to your payment card details, billing address, or Apple ID credentials.
5. User Rights & Complete Control
Because all data remains exclusively on your device, you maintain complete ownership of your health records. You can view, manage, or delete imported health data at any time directly in the Apple Health app, or revoke HealthKit permissions in iOS Settings (→ Health → Data Access & Devices → Health Import).
